CHIP Approach:
CHIP Mumbai works with the BMC schools to facilitate total child care through public-private partnership. The approach to adopting a school involves partnership with the BMC. The needs of the students and the school are evaluated and assistance is given to providing holistic quality education. The main areas of support CHIP provides to the schools are

- Educational interventions and support
- Health promotion and prevention of disease

Our adoption process also emphasizes the need for greater community and parental involvement, as well as a commitment to fairness toward all beneficiaries with special emphasis on gender sensitivity.
